Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and its surrounding areas have been devastated. Our first responders, as well as the RAL management team and resort managers have accessed the resorts and RAL office, but the general public is not allowed please and is not safe. The Ral team has shared videos of the visible damage to each resort on their respective Facebook pages. For the latest information about your resort please follow those pages as well as the RAL website. Once the RAL office is up and running we will send email updates to owners as soon as possible.
Yes. All resorts have both Flood and Wind policies in place. We are working closely with the brokers as well as the adjusters.
The exchange companies are reviewing the situation. Currently the resorts are frozen with no deposits being accepted.
The resorts are closed until further notice.
There are no new deposits being accepted for all the resorts. If you have a week already banked, please confirm with your exchange company as those companies may be returning or deleting deposits as the resorts are not inhabitable.
Florida statutes prohibit refunds of maintenance fees.
All rentals’ reservations through 2023 will cancelled and will be fully refunded.
Anyone that had reserved week 53, will also be cancelled and refunded, if applicable.
Yes. The resort will need funds in 2023 for renovations, repairs, insurance, utilities, limited payroll, phones and more. There will be further updates on financials as the complete scope of damages and renovations are known. Annual bills will be sent as soon as the RAL office can. They will be due as per usual, January 1st.
The resorts respective Facebook pages are a good source for now. Once the RAL office is up and running, we will be taking phone calls, in the meantime please email any questions you may have to the RAL team.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this very difficult time.
RAL Team
Many RAL Employees (all resorts staff are RAL Employees) have lost homes (flooded and washed away), vehicles or had some type of damage from this storm. There will be a donation account set up to support those that lost things due to the storm in the next few days. We will add information to this post. If you wish to send something before please make it out to RAL Resorts and add Hurricane Donation in the comments area.
We are blessed to have survived this storm. Thank you for your understanding, thoughts and prayers while we try to piece together our lives.
Magdelaina Hagar and the entire RAL Family
