John Shaw
Owner, President, Board Relations
John Shaw is a Licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. After the destruction of Hurricane Charley in 2004, John was asked to come to Fort Myers to rebuild the damaged resorts managed by RAL. After the reconstruction and reopening, John apprenticed under Bob Lotts and worked as the Facility Manager for the entire network of resorts. John now is the President of RAL Resorts and primarily deals in relations with the Board of Directors. John diligently continues his work with each Board of Directors in the portfolio of resorts making sure to provide personal attention to each individual member.
Magdelaina Hagar
Vice President, Professional Real Estate Broker, Resort Sales, Licensed CAM
Magdelaina Hagar has been with RAL since 2004 working under Bob Lotts learning the aspects of hospitality management while in college. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2006 with a degree in Hospitality Management. She went on to get her Real Estate License and now holds the Brokers License for RAL Resorts. Along with working with Owners on selling their units, she also holds weekly meetings with Owners and Guests at the resorts informing them about the resort they are staying at as well as the area’s attractions. She also holds a CAM License.
JR Shaw
Sales Agent, Marketing Manager, Licensed CAM, Asst. Office Manager
JR Shaw is the current Marketing Director, Licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) and a Licensed FL Real Estate Sales Agent for RAL Resorts. Having worked on-and-off throughout the years while in college, JR became a part of the full time staff in May 2009 upon graduation. JR graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management with honors. JR looks for new and innovative ways of marketing RAL Resorts on a day-to-day basis. JR is also actively involved in Board relations as well as compiling information for Board of Director Meetings and Annual Meetings. JR also helps with all aspects of office work from accounting to rentals to customer relations.
Debra Shaw
Owner, Office Manager, Sales Agent
Debra Shaw has been with RAL since 2004. She has been in an Office Manager role for over 25 years of her working career. After Hurricane Charley, she came down to work with her family rebuilding and managing RAL’s properties. Since then, she has learned all the aspects of the day-to-day office operations for RAL Resorts.
Katrina Hernandez
Rental Department Manager
Katrina Hernandez has been with the company since 2008 and is the head of the rentals department. Katrina’s main objectives deal with space-banking requests from owners, rental reservations and cancellations, processing of rental fees and the processing of the rental escrow accounts for the reservations booked.
Stacy Hernandez
Reservations Specialist
Stacy Hernandez joined the ranks of RAL in 2010 and has been working with Katrina Hernandez in processing rentals and has also been posting all maintenance and tax payments received for the 2011-year. Stacy has also helped fill in at the resorts when needed for checking in and out guests on Saturdays.
Tracy Oram
Accounting Department Manager
New to the office team in early 2015, Tracy brings expertise in accounting and bookkeeping experience that benefits the staff of RAL Resorts as well as each individual client RAL represents.
Corey Hagar
Facilities Manager
Corey Hagar has been with RAL since 2008. He began working as the head of Maintenance at one of our resorts and has moved up to become our Facilities Manager. Corey has been in the Electrical/Construction trade since 2001 and strives to make sure that the resorts continue to maintain quality standards that our Owners are accustomed to.
